What Do You Think?

Hello gamers,
Since the news has been slow and there really isn't any more games for me to review right now, I was wondering what you guys thought of my blog.

I decided that in order for this blog to be successful, I will need to keep the readers interested. I figured that the only way to do that is to find out what they like.

So, do you guys like that I make a post every Friday, or would you like it more than just that? Maybe I should focus more on news than reviews? Perhaps I should have a more balance of information regarding news and game reviews from all three systems? Maybe you would like me try add some new things to my blog or even a new layout.

All of this I would enjoy to find out from you guys. As always, you don't have to answer the questions, but it would really help me out a lot if I'm going to get serious with this blog.

Thanks again,
Oddball

Maybe widen your spectrum, instead of just reviewing games, review game devices, gaming gear and just talk about being a gamer. other than that, everything looks alright.

I really like your blog, i do think it needs a new layout though. This one isn't bad, i just think its time for a change.

And hey, i got into m80, is there a way to choose the games you can get? Just wondering...

Hi Oddball! Nico from M80 here just joining the comment train and just generally helping out your traffic. :)

From my end of things, I know what's most valuable from gamer blogs are their opinions on news, not just the news. This gives a real human insight into the gamer lifestyle, and starts a lot of potential conversations that news sites often try to stay away from because it's important for them to be unbiased.

But it's really bias that helps game companies, because it lets them know what they're doing right, doing wrong, or even doing pointlessly.

You might also want to increase the visibility (or "web presence") of your blog by incorporating services like SiteMeter, Technorati, Google Analytics, MyBlogLog, etc.

All the other suggestions are pretty good, too, I particularly agree with spacepiratefear. Gaming isn't just all about the games themselves, but about the experience of being a gamer, and everything that comes with it.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Your comments have helped me have a larger understanding of what I need to do for some new posts.

Fargo447,
You could ask Nico, but most of the time it just depends on what they send him. Just make sure you tell what game systems you own.
